Collection: Haut-Medoc

The Haut-Médoc appellation lies between the most famous Bordeaux appellations Margaux and Saint-Julien / Pauillac / Saint-Estèphe and envelops these appellations, so to speak. The gently rolling hills away from the Gironde are criss-crossed by forests, fields, meadows and also vineyards. Due to its large size, the appellation is not very homogeneous.

The undisputed star with many wine lovers is Sociando Mallet in the far north. Its wines are deep-colored, classic Bordeaux with great concentration. The prices for the coveted bottles from this unclassified estate are more than attractive. The equally excellent wines from Château La Lagune (3ème Cru), which is also in the top class, are less powerful but more elegant and fresh.
